Dr. Skaggs has extensive experience and expertise in
diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of spine and
sport-related problems, headache, and TMJ problems.
He is currently Medical Director of the Central Institute
of Human Performance; Associate Professor at Logan University;
Adjunct faculty at Washington University School of Medicine
and is on the post-doctoral faculty of five universities.
Dr. Skaggs has contributed to many journal articles
and book chapters and has lectured throughout the U.S.,
Canada, Australia, Europe and Scandinavia on rehabilitative
medicine. He is also an investigator on several research
projects including: low back pain in pregnant women,
biomechanics of the head, jaw and neck and clinical
evaluation of chronic low back pain. His practice includes
high school and college athletes, professional athletes
and performers from the NHL, NFL, MLB, WNBA, WSPA, US
Olympic team and Broadway.
