Ted Forcum

Dr. Ted Forcum achieved his doctorate from Western States Chiropractic College where he was President of the Sports Medicine Club. During that time, he became a Licensed Massage Therapist and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Dr. Forcum is a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians, the first chiropractor in the Pacific Northwest with this highest level of sports designation.
The American Chiropractic Association Council on Sports and Physical Fitness voted Dr. Forcum the 1994-95 & 2004 Sports Chiropractor of the Year. Dr. Forcum was also voted 1997 Native American Entrepreneur of the year. He was awarded a 2000 ACA Sports Council Achievement Award. In 2001 he was awarded the honorary designation of F.I.C.C. (Fellow of the International College of Chiropractors) for his contribution to the profession and healthcare.
Dr. Forcum has worked as an event physician for such events as the Winter Olympics, US Olympic Trials, U.S Track and Field Championships, NCAA National Championships, the U.S. Taekwando Championships, the Nike World Masters Games, and Women’s Pro-Beach Volleyball. He works as a staff chiropractor for the PGA tour and Champions Tour in the PGA, and is team physician for the Portland Prowlers Indoor Professional Football, Portland Forest Dragons Arena Football and the Coors Light Cycling Team.
Dr. Forcum is the event coordinator for the USA Track and Field National Championships, and is the medical director for the Adidas Oregon Track Classic, Columbia Gorge Marathon, 2005 US Figure Skating Championships, and was the assistant medical director for 18 years for the Portland Marathon.
Dr. Forcum taught postdoctoral programs for Southern California Health Sciences University, Western States Chiropractic College, Logan Chiropractic College and Northwestern Health Sciences University. He lectures nationally and internationally on the topics of sports injuries and biomechanics. Dr. Forcum works as a staff chiropractor for the PGA Tour and Champions Tour in the PGA Fitness Trailer.
This course is designed to present the clinician the most recent and state of the art information on the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of leg, ankle and foot disorders.
Through lecture presentations, hands-on laboratory sessions, open discussion and problem solving case studies participants will learn comprehensive, new and effective techniques to accurately diagnose and effectively manage disorders of the leg, ankle and foot, including nerve entrapments, ankle impingements, tendonosis, strains, stress fractures, and many other conditions that affect the lower extremity.

COURSE CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
Cancellation must be given in writing. Cancellations received less than 45 days prior to the course will be assessed a $50 cancellation fee. If received less than 30 days in advance credit towards a future seminar/ or course (minus $50 cancellation fee) is received. Somatic Senses Ltd. reserves the right to cancel any course and will not be responsible for any charges incurred by the participant. If a seminar is cancelled a full refund will be given.
