Testimonials

'I am always amazed with Mike’s commitment to the fields of kinesiology, biomechanics and manual medicine; this is evident when you hear him speak. Mike’s lectures are filled with the latest information even if that information proves to be contrary to the common beliefs [Read: misconceptions] at the moment. He presents evidence-based information in his lectures with clarity, conciseness, and clinical relevancy and has the knowledge base, references and clinical prowess to back it up.”

“Michael Maxwell is a top notch therapist and one of the few practitioners I turn to when either myself or one of my athletes needs special attention. His knowledge of the body and of therapeutic modalities is exceptional. And his ability to convey this knowledge through his educational seminars is outstanding. During the last shoulder seminar I attended with Michael, I walked away with a greater understanding of the shoulder and, more importantly, several therapeutic strategies that I could immediately apply. I recommend that anyone interested in learning more about functional anatomy join in on one of Michael’s events.”

“We tend to overlook the importance and relevance of structure to function. Anatomy and functional anatomy are two different ball games, and without discovering the link between the two, you will simply be an average practitioner. Mike has done a tremendous job of introducing the shoulder complex from an anatomical and biomechanical perspective. He then paves the way and directs you to success in assessment and exercise related treatment. His work is evidence based, comprehensive, easy to follow, and ready to be applied. Have your thinking caps on, because the course is up beat, hands on, and interactive. Mike will find a way to challenge you!”

“I want to say thanks once again for running the course. I learned more than expected and found the overall experience to be very rewarding. As well, I thank you for the assesment on my shoulder. I have already completed a session of the exercises and stretches that you suggested.”
